MOSSMAN HOME PRESERVATION FOUNDATION

ENRICHING THE MELROSE COMMUNITY IN

TEACHING AND ADVOCATING THE ARTS

Amy Stanley, President of Mossman Home Preservation Foundation, closes the deal to purchase the Mossman property from Chuck Lowry.

THANK YOU MELROSE!!!

The Mossman Home Preservation Foundation formally purchased the historic Mossman property today, January 22, 2025 at noon. It's a great day for the Melrose community and for historic preservation. Thanks to all our members and supporters that made this purchase possible.

Donations to Mossman Home Preservation Foundation are tax deductible.

The Gallery at Mossman Hall will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12-5 PM, Monday from 10 AM-2 PM, Tuesday 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Individual Instructors have modified schedules so please contact instructor for updates.

Mossman Hall’s first post-purchase fundraiser, Valentine’s Day Dinner & Dance Date Night was a huge success thanks to co-chairs Amy and Carissa and their crack team of decorators, cooks, and servers: Barb, Cindy, Julio, Nansea, MaryAnn, Stasia, Gail, Leslie, Brenda, and Glenda. The sold-out event featured a delicious meal of BBQ smoked brisket, pork, and bacon-wrapped chicken with several sides and many desserts! The food was delicious and all home-made by volunteers. Music was provided by Mason Via and The Sandhill Cranes String Band, who got the house rocking and dancing to traditional bluegrass music, including contra, waltz, and square dances called by Andy Kane. Yes, Mossman Hall will plan another Dance due to overwhelming requests. Stay in touch and keep up with our classes and events by going to our website MossmanHall.com and follow us on Facebook. Please remember that all staff at Mossman Hall are volunteers, and we are always happy to have you volunteer too!

“Outstanding work done by the Mossman crew to put on such a fun evening. Thank you!”

Spring session of dance classes are now open! This session will be a bit longer, and will include a FAMILY CLASS! This means one class during the session a family member is welcomed to join and take class with your child. It’s going to be super fun! This session will also include ballet, jazz, and hiphop techniques being taught, a craft, and a recital. Let me know if you would like me to save your child a spot!💃🏻🩰🪩🕺
